Annie V. Lam, principal of the Lam Consulting Group, is a recognized expert in public and nonprofit service. She is well known for her strategic approach to enhancing and revitalizing organizations.
Of particular note, Annie was instrumental in helping both the League of CA Cities Asian Pacific Islander and Women’s Caucuses achieve revitalization goals by strengthening programs, increasing fund development, expanding membership recruitment, and nurturing new collaborative opportunities.
Annie is very passionate in helping increase participation of elected and career professionals in government through leadership development programs. She began her career working in the California State Legislature and has served in various capacities in the political arena for over 15 years.
As a daughter and sister of Vietnam refugees who grew up in poverty, she understands the importance of equal and equitable access to quality education. She has created numerous advancement programs for underrepresented groups and has been appointed to serve on the University of Southern California President’s and Provost’s Task Force on Racial Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
She is the recipient of the Sacramento Business Journal’s 40 under 40 Award, Bizwomen Headliner in Non-profit, and APALF’s Woman Warrior Award.
Annie is a doctoral candidate at USC Rossier School of Education with a focus on organizational change and leadership. Annie holds a Master of Public Administration degree with honors and certification in public policy from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from UC Davis majoring in Asian American Studies.
